Concussions in athletes – should be taken seriously

Concussions are an issue for males and females alike, in any kind of sport, be it football, boxing, even soccer etc.

At Stanford the number of concussions rose about 25 percent from 2011/12 to 2013/14. The reason: the university improved their tracking system.

 

“For you as educators – for all of us as educators – attention deficit is the most common cognitive problem of a concussion,” William Maloney said.

 

From what I have seen in my daily practice with osteopathy clients, women listen better to their body and respect it when they feel off track.
